First International Day of LGBT+ People in Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM)

Evidence shows that LGBTQ+ people in science, technology, engineering, and maths continue to struggle to openly be themselves. The EWR Alliance is taking action to ensure all team members are free to be themselves and is keen to support this important day of recognition. The event will include short presentations:

• the East West Rail Alliance and our work on equality, diversity and inclusion
• the Railway Civil Engineers Association – how can we work together to advance LGBT+ equality
• InterEngineering Midlands – forward plans & introduction to the new Co-Chair

As well as time for the all important informal discussions and networking.
