The Royal Academy of Engineering, Stonewall and InterEngineering are organising a private roundtable of senior influential managers from engineering firms to discuss and stimulate organisation-level action to improve sexual orientation equality in the sector. In particular the event will explore the business case for employee networks and ways in which they can be aligned with corporate strategy. In common with other inclusion imperatives, recruiting and retaining more skilled LGBT people within the engineering sector ultimately contributes to maximising business performance.
