For the third consecutive year, InterEngineering and the Royal Academy of Engineering are inviting you to celebrate #LGBTSTEMday.

The last six months have been extremely challenging for the engineering community. This event will look at how our profession has responded to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as recognise the contribution of LGBTQ+ engineers in addressing these challenges. We will be joined by speakers from the Royal Academy of Engineering and Rolls-Royce who will share their experiences of working through and responding to the crisis. We will also consider the impact of the pandemic on diversity and inclusion as well as shifts in working practices.

This event will be a panel discussion with a Q&A session at the end. We welcome all attendees to submit questions during the event or in advance by emailing Diversity Team

This event forms part of our celebration of LGBT STEM day. Talk with us and our allies to celebrate international day of LGBTQ+ people in STEM on social media – don’t forget to tag the Academy and InterEngineering using #LGBTSTEMday.
