It’s that time of year again where we come together and celebrate our differences. 50 years ago, on 28th June 1969, the Stonewall Uprising started a series of events which kicked off the modern Pride movement. In honour of this, this year’s theme for pride in London is #PrideJubilee.
At InterEngineering, we connect, inform and empower engineers who identify as LGBT+ and engaging supporters who share our mission. Since our launch in 2014, we have grown to over 900 members with four active regional groups in London, South West, North West & the Midlands. We are leading the way for change across the engineering sector through combatting homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in the workplace, on site and in education.
This year we are generously supported by Air Products and are looking forward to marching with them in London and Manchester. Please book your place with us here and we will be in touch a few weeks before the parade on our plans for the day. Bring your friends and family along too!
Prior to the parade we are meeting at the Cavendish Square Gardens and then join the parade close by.
