With parades cancelled this year, the group is staging “Re:Engineering Pride” a series of virtual events taking place from 10th August to the 16th August and open to all. Featuring a panel discussion on ‘The Future of Engineering Post Covid, a pub quiz, a bingo night, a technical talk and a pride photo competition! The aim is to come together to celebrate LGBT+ inclusion in Engineering.
Just because we can’t celebrate together , it doesn’t mean that we can’t share what we get up to. We want you to share your best Pride photos on social media using #ReEngPride. At the end of the week we’ ll collate all the photos into a huge rainbow collage.
Here’s some ideas to get you started:
Test out your knowledge with our first event, a quiz! The quiz will be a great way to work together as teams to show off your general & LGBT+ knowledge. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/reengineering-pride-quiz-tickets-113260551358
Many tools related to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion have been developed by companies, organisations and individuals for the past few years. In this ever-changing and growing industry, it has become a must for all organisations to start thinking about ED&I and how they can attract and retain talent in their industries. In this event we will be joined by professionals who will present two tools developed: the Majority Allies Toolkit and the series of Team Workshops for ED&I. We invite you to ask questions and share your experiences before and during the event for our Q&A session at the end. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/reengineering-pride-allies-seminar-tickets-113261265494
