With parades cancelled this year, the group is staging “Re:Engineering Pride” a series of virtual events taking place from 10th August to the 16h August and open to all. Featuring a panel discussion on ‘The Future of Engineering Post Covid, a pub quiz, a bingo night, a technical talk and a pride photo competition! The aim is to come together to celebrate LGBT+ inclusion in Engineering.
Re:Engineering Photo Competition 10th August to 16th August
Just because we can’t celebrate together , it doesn’ t mean that we can’t share what we get up to. We want you to share your best Pride photos on social media using #ReEngPride. At the end of the week we’ ll collate all the photos into a huge rainbow collage.

The best photo will receive a DIANA BABY 110 camera and a 3D printed trophy!
Quiz Night – 7pm 14th August 2020
Test out your knowledge with our first event, a quiz! The quiz will be a great way to work together as teams to show off your general & LGBT+ knowledge.
Enginers Tools ‘4’ ED&I – 6pm 11th August 2020
Many tools related to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion have been developed by companies, organisations and individuals for the past few years. In this ever-changing and growing industry, it has become a must for all organisations to start thinking about ED&I and how they can attract and retain talent in their industries. In this event we will be joined by professionals who will present two tools developed: the Majority Allies Toolkit and the series of Team Workshops for ED&I. We invite you to ask questions and share your experiences before and during the event for our Q&A session at the end.
The Future of Engineering Post Covid Panel Discussion – 6:30pm 13th August 2020
Join InterEngineering, Building Equality and Supporters for a Panel Discussion on the Future of Engineering Post COVID. Hear from Industry experts from the aerospace, transport and manufacturing sector on what the future may be like. The panel discussion will explore the current challenges facing the industry and the future of design and implementation of engineering.
